LOS ANGELES Jeff Hyland has handled some of Southern California’s most notable real estate deals in recent memory, including the $150-million sale of Jerry Perenchio’s famed “The Beverly Hillbillies” estate and LeBron James’ recent $36.75-million purchase in Beverly Hills.
The co-founder of the Hilton & Hyland brokerage also holds the priciest listing in the U.S. a Bel-Air trophy mansion owned by financier Gary Winnick that’s up for grabs at $225 million.
Apparently, at 73, that’s not enough.
Slifer Smith & Frampton became the only Colorado firm to be a member of Forbes Global Properties, a new consumer marketplace, on Thursday, Dec. 10.
The firm has been involved in the creation of the marketplace, which aims to connect buyers with real estate agents on a global level. The marketplace will cap the number of memberships at 100, according to a news release.
The partnership gives Slifer Smith & Frampton access to a referral network, a digital platform for member relations, a dedicated page on Forbes.com, more agent tools and direct access to buyer interactions, according to the news release.
John Pfeiffer, president of Slifer Smith & Frampton, also will serve on the board for the new marketplace, according to the release. Before becoming the president, Pfeiffer was an agent in Summit and Eagle counties.

Valley’s biggest real estate company joins Forbes Global Properties

Slifer Smith & Frampton Real Estate has joined a partnership with several other realty firms that will operate under the Forbes Global Realty umbrella.
This has been an eventful couple of years for the valley’s biggest real estate company.
Slifer Smith & Frampton Real Estate announced this week it has joined Forbes Global Properties. The partnership is the biggest of the firm’s recent big deals, including moving into the Roaring Fork Valley and Denver markets.
The new brand uses the Forbes name to link a number of real estate firms in the U.S. and Europe.
