Three Eagles stars (circled) were spotted flashing what club officials later described as a juvenile hand gesture We have asked questions and it is all to do with the circle game, a club spokesperson told The West Australian. It s juvenile and should not have been a part of the post-game photo.
Eagles football manager Craig Vozzo told The Age: To be honest I had no idea what the circle game was or that it was a far right or racist symbol, I thought it was an OK symbol. I can tell you the players had no idea at all it was some racist symbol.

West Coast Eagles
Fremantle Dockers haven’t beaten cross-town rivals the
West Coast Eagles in more than six years – is today the day their streak ends? Keep an eye on the Western Derby with
live scores on
4:40pm (AEST).
The Eagles have claimed the last ten derbies as the Dockers have struggled in the lower rungs of the ladder. However, with the men in purple showing signs of real progress under Justin Longmuir’s watchful eye, they’ve arguably not been in a better position to challenge their enemy since their halcyon days of 2015.
Mr McGowan said he understoof people may be angered by the news, but said it was necessary. I understand people will be disappointed and some people will be frustrated by the decision, but it has been made on health advice and we have tried to communicate this as quickly as possible, he said. The game will still go on and of course people can watch it from their own homes . the decision to have no crowd at the stadium also helps us in preventing possible transmission on public transport. Having 45,000 people try to get to Optus Stadium at the same time is too much of a risk, especially as we are still going through the close contacts.

Premier Mark McGowan says he will decide whether the city of Perth will go into lockdown on Sunday morning, after a hotel quarantine security guard and two of his housemates tested positive to COVID-19.
The Premier would also decide on whether crowds would be allowed at the Western Derby match between AFL teams West Coast and the Fremantle Dockers, which is set to take place at Optus Stadium on Sunday afternoon.
