Suspect sought in Cañon City road rage incident

CAÃON CITY â Police in Cañon City advised other agencies to be on the lookout for a driver suspected of firing shots during a road rage incident.
On Thursday night, a caller to 911 in Fremont County told the call-taker they were being followed.
While the dispatcher was on the phone they heard at least two shots fired. No one was injured in the incident, but police are looking for a gold-colored minivan with Washington state license plates, possibly BPM6936.
Officers with the Cañon City Police and the Fremont County Sheriff s Office were unable to locate the vehicle as the driver reportedly fled the area.

Their mom, Lori Vallow, and her new husband, Chad Daybell were wanted for questioning. Tylee and JJ s remains were found on Daybell s property, and both of them were arrested and now awaiting trial.

ST. ANTHONY Deputies say they found a dead cat strangled with a zip tie and stabbed outside a man’s front door when they went to arrest him on warrants.
The Fremont County Sheriff’s Office went to a property east of St. Anthony Thursday to serve arrest warrants on 21-year-old Caden Armstrong. According to an affidavit of probable cause obtained by EastIdahoNews.com, a deputy noticed a dead orange-colored cat surrounded in frozen blood outside the door of the camper trailer where Armstrong lived.
(Hamburg) A traffic stop led to a drug-related arrest in Fremont County Sunday evening.
The Fremont County Sheriff s Office says 32-year-old Chad Sheard of Omaha and 30-year-old Danya Schafer of Springfield, Missouri were arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia. The suspects were arrested following a traffic stop in the 1200 block of Washington Street in Hamburg at approximately 8 p.m. A deputy noticed a Cadillac SUV with heavy front end damage and a headlight out. Authorities say paraphernalia with a white crystal substance was located along with other items.
Sheard and Schafer were taken to the Fremont County Jail, where they re being held on $300 bond each.
