Pegasus Link Constructors (PLC) was awarded the contract from the Texas Department of Transportation in May 2019, which has the joint-venture of Fluor Enterprises Inc. and Balfour Beatty Inc. managing the design and construction of the project. Substantial completion is anticipated in late 2024.

The chairman of the New York Senate’s watchdog committee announced Monday his panel, in conjunction with other committees, is seeking records from the consortium that built the Gov. Mario M. Cuomo Tappan Zee Bridge.
The statement by state Sen. James Skoufis, D-Cornwall, comes weeks after state Sen. Joseph Griffo, R-Rome,
called on Skoufis’ Committee on Investigations and Government Operations to review the nearly $4 billion project after The Albany Times-Union’s report raised concerns regarding safety issues with the twin-span bridge.
“The Senate s Committee on Investigations and Government Operations, in partnership with the committees on Contracts and Procurement; Corporations, Authorities, and Commissions; and Transportation, issued an information and document request to Tappan Zee Constructors, LLC on Friday, April 23,” Skoufis said. “Ad
