STEUBENVILLE Dwayne Richardson has been named as president of Trinity Health System’s Twin City Medical Center in Dennison, officials announced Thursday.
Richardson, a Philadelphia native, also will be responsible for the health system’s overall outpatient services in all outlying locations.
He will replace Teresa Gagliardi, who has served the ministry for nearly 50 years and most recently was vice president of hospital operations at the Dennison location.
“As our ministry continues to grow in our region, we felt the time was right to recruit an experienced leader to help facilitate that growth in Tuscarawas, Harrison and Belmont counties,” stated Matt Grimshaw, Trinty’s CEO.
NORRISTOWN â The pandemic has ensured that the Montgomery County Health and Human Services approach to Black History Month would be decidedly different for 2021.
Instead of the customary day of speakers and honorees, the agency is presenting weekly virtual forums on the theme âThe Black Family,â through moderated interactive discussions with notable county authorities.
âThe Montgomery County Commissioners and our director of Health and Human Services thought that we shouldnât allow a year to go by without having anything for Black History Month, so the committee came up with a way that we could do it virtually,â noted administrative assistant Lora Gonzalez.
For many who knew the first lady-elect, 69, the honor didnât come as a surprise.
âIt couldnât happen to a better person,â said Liz Leonard, a former classmate of Biden at Upper Moreland High School. âSheâs just so giving, and sheâs a hard worker ⦠and when she sets out to get something done she does it.â

The soon-to-be first lady was born Jill Tracy Jacobs on June 3, 1951 in Hammonton, N.J. to parents Donald Jacobs and Bonny Jean Godfrey.
Biden is the eldest of five sisters, according to a profile in The Philadelphia Inquirer. The family of seven later moved to Montgomery County first to Hatboro, and then to Willow Grove where she later attended Upper Moreland High School.
