Debate over vaccine mandate for Broadway audiences
For the first time in over a year, Broadway tickets are on sale ahead of the grand reopening of shows in September, but there are still a lot of questions that need to be ironed out, including whether audience members will have to be vaccinated.
NEW YORK - At his big Broadway re-opening announcement this week, Governor Andrew Cuomo did not mince words. Are you willing to go into an indoor theatre and sit there for two hours next to a person who you don’t know if they’re vaccinated or unvaccinated? Cuomo asked rhetorically. I don’t know that New Yorkers are going to do that.
