The Augusta County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help with two stolen vehicles.
Lieutenant Steven Cason reports the first vehicle was reported stolen from the Swoope area early Sunday morning.
The car, a silver 2014 Mazda CX-5 with license plates “URM-4394”, was last seen at a home on Buffalo Gap Highway.
Meanwhile, the second vehicle was taken from the owner’s driveway early yesterday morning in the Waynesboro area.
A short time later, that vehicle was found engulfed in flames in the 50 block of Entry School Road just outside of Waynesboro. The car was considered a total loss.
