This incident occurred during the night of April 4, 2021. Unknown suspects entered the property and gained access to the travel trailer. The trailer is described as a 2016 Heartland North Trail Ultra Lite. It is tan in color with black and maroon decals. The photos are of the actual vehicle. The value of this theft is $18,000. One stolen 4-wheeler is described as a Honda 420 Rancher, red in color with a custom light bar, ITP mud tires and a manual shift. Two dirt bikes stolen recently are described as a CRF50F and CRF80F. Both bikes are Hondas, red and white in color, one with orange fenders. We want to remind you to secure your items and take the necessary steps to protect your property. There is a market for these items so criminals are on the lookout for them.

Evangeline Parish Sheriff s Office arrest two suspects after dual pursuits and last updated 2021-03-31 19:27:20-04 VILLE PLATTE, La. — The Evangeline Parish Sheriff s Office have arrested an Elton man after he evaded deputies on a motorcycle. Deputies also arrested a Ville Platte woman who failed to yield to emergency vehicles and evaded police while they were assisting in the initial pursuit. According to a release, EPSO was notified Wednesday that the Eunice Police Department was in pursuit of a motorcycle heading westbound on Highway 190, coming into Evangeline Parish at speeds in excess of 130 mph. Deputies say the motorcycle turned onto the Old Basile Highway, continuing at speeds of over 130 mph.
