Oregon health officials reported 14 new COVID-19 related deaths on Thursday, May 13, raising the state s death toll to 2,572.
The Oregon Health Authority reported 733 new confirmed and presumptive cases of the virus. Oregon has now tallied a total of 193,732 cases since the start of the pandemic.
There were 351 people being treated for COVID-19 at Oregon hospitals and 88 patients in ICU beds on Thursday.
Another 30,037 new vaccine doses were added to Oregon s immunization registry. To date, Oregon has administered a total of 1,881,250 first and second doses of Pfizer, 1,437,343 first and second doses of Moderna and 116,551 single doses of Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 vaccines.

There are 14 new COVID-19 related deaths in Oregon, raising the state’s death toll to 2,572.
Oregon Health Authority reported 733 new confirmed and presumptive cases of COVID-19 as of 12:01 a.m. today, bringing the state total to 193,732.
The number of hospitalized patients with COVID-19 across Oregon is 351, which is five more than Wednesday. There are 88 COVID-19 patients in intensive care unit (ICU) beds, which is the same as Wednesda’s total.
The total number of COVID-19 positive patient bed-days in the most recent seven days is 2,339, which is a 1.1% decrease from the previous seven days. The peak daily number of beds occupied by COVID-19 positive patients in the most recent seven days is 351.

Oregon reports 616 new cases, nine new deaths
Oregon has reported 616 new cases of COVID-19, and nine new deaths.
That brings the state’s cumulative case count to 193,014, and the death toll to 2,558, according to the Oregon Health Authority.
Marion County reported 53 new cases. Polk County reported 11 new cases.
Other counties’ new cases were: Baker (2), Benton (14), Clackamas (80), Clatsop (1), Columbia (7), Coos (9), Crook (11), Deschutes (63), Douglas (15), Gilliam (1), Grant (2), Hood River (2), Jackson (42), Jefferson (13), Josephine (6), Klamath (15), Lake (2), Lane (49), Lincoln (2), Linn (21), Malheur (6), Multnomah (105), Tillamook (2), Umatilla (20), Union (1), Washington (49), Wheeler (2) and Yamhill (10).

As in past weeks, the tri-county metro area is the heaviest hit.
The new confirmed and presumptive COVID-19 cases reported Friday include hotspots in Multnomah County (with 146 cases) Clackamas County (104) and Washington County (94).

The number of hospitalized patients with COVID-19 across Oregon is 324, which is four fewer than Thursday. There are 90 COVID-19 patients in intensive care unit (ICU) beds, which is unchanged from Thursday.
The total number of COVID-19 positive patient bed-days in the most recent seven days is 2,354, which is a 5.5% increase from the previous seven days. The peak daily number of beds occupied by COVID-19 positive patients in the most recent seven days is 351.
