The Oregon Health Authority on Saturday reported 476 new confirmed or presumptive coronavirus cases and six more deaths.
The tally comes the day after Gov. Kate Brown announced that vaccine eligibility would be expanded Monday to include not just frontline workers, but their families as well. Brown said the expansion would help in the “race between the vaccines and the variants” as more infectious forms of the virus continue to spread throughout the state and nation.
