Jackson County reports two more COVID-19 deaths; 86 new cases
Jackson County Public Health reported two more deaths attributed to coronavirus, bringing the county death toll to 52 since the pandemic began.

MEDFORD, Ore. Jackson County Public Health on Tuesday reported two more deaths attributed to coronavirus, bringing the county death toll to 52 since the pandemic began.
According to the agency, an 88-year-old woman tested positive on November 9 and died December 3 at Providence Medford Medical Center. The presence of underlying conditions is still being confirmed.
An 89-year-old woman tested positive on November 6 and died at her residence on December 9. She had underlying conditions, officials said.

Oregon had nearly 2,500 new COVID-19 cases reported over the weekend.
1,440 new cases were reported on Saturday and 1,048 new cases were reported on Sunday. There were 19 new deaths reported over the weekend.
There have been 1,155 deaths and 93,853 new cases since the pandemic began.
Oregon s 858th and 954th COVID-19 deaths, reported on Nov. 25 and Dec. 3, are the same person. The numbers have been adjusted accordingly. OHA regrets this error.

OHA: 1,048 new cases of COVID-19, six more deaths
The Oregon Health Authority on Sunday announced 1,048 new cases of COVID-19 Sunday, including 150 in Marion County and 15 in Polk County.
The state s case count has reached 93,853.
OHA reported six more deaths Sunday, bringing the state s total to 1,155.
