Guwahati: Assam Health Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on Monday said that COVID-19 situation across the state is not worsening at present. He asserted that in order to keep COVID-19 situation in check, tests are being conducted at airports and train stations.
“People are attending functions and big rallies, but the situation is not worsening,” said Sarma.
He added that if “the second wave of coronavirus infection comes, it is a different thing. But, as of now, we are comfortable”.
