Assam Motor Workers Association Calls for Chakka Bandh on Jan 27 The Chakka Bandh is called by the association to meet various demands, one of which is to decrease the percentage of commission taken by Ola-Uber authorities   |  13 Jan 2021 1:57 PM GMT Guwahati: A 24-hour Chaka Bandh has been called by the Assam Motor Workers Association on January 27. The bandh is called in protest against the anti-labour policy of the government. The bandh is also called to meet various demands. The Assam Motor Workers Association has further demanded to withdraw the ban on the vehicles, which are to the interstate. They have also demanded and urged the concerned people to not harass the drivers by installing speed governor, airbag, camera etc in the vehicles which are plying to other states.
