This was the second such incident in the district in four days. A 12-year-old boy was killed in Jagun on May 11 in a grenade explosion.

Sonowal visited Assam Medical College & Hospital at Dibrugarh and inspected the newly installed oxygen plant there. He also took stock of the health infrastructure available in the medical college for treatment of COVID-19 patients.
