GUWAHATI: The Assam government has directed all the government medical college & hospitals to share COVID-19 related information and other aspects to public via social media.
Further as per the directions of the state government, all the eight medical colleges and hospitals are now gearing up to share each and every bit of information on COVID-19 and also share positive stories and solicit feedback and suggestions for the public.

GUWAHATI: Chief minister Himanta Biswa Sarma has asked the health department to make senior doctors available on night shifts in medical colleges trea.
Assam chief minister, Himanta Biswa Sarma tweeted, “Directed to extend curfew hoursstarting from 12 noon in consultation with business community & leading citizens; increase containment zones, extend livelihood help to the needy. Advised them to be careful in allowing home quarantine to people above 50 yrs.”

On May 11, a 12-year-old boy was killed in a similar explosion in the same Tinsukia district
A grenade blast killed two people and injured two seiously in eastern Assam’s Tinsukia district on Friday afternoon.
This was the second such incident in the district in four days. A 12-year-old boy was killed in Jagun on May 11 in a grenade explosion.
