March 11 (UPI) Human error and a malfunctioning gate led to last month s security breach at Joint Base Andrews in Maryland, according to an Air Force Inspector General s review of the incident.
The Air Force released a 23-page report Thursday detailing the incident, which led to the arrest of a civilian at the base, which houses Air Force One.

Feb. 5 (UPI) Authorities arrested a man who allegedly breached the Maryland Air Force base that houses Air Force One the day before President Joe Biden was scheduled to take his first flight on the plane as president.
Air Force Office of Special Investigations spokeswoman Linda Card told the Military Times that investigators interviewed the unauthorized individual who gained prohibited access to Joint Base Andrews on Thursday.
