Korowai Tupu have seen the Newsroom article and on the face
of it the inexcuseable actions included. We tautoko the

who may have had similar experiences.
This behaviour
is not consistent with Youth Work and is not how Youth Work

While the objectives of the Government’s Three Water
Reform programme continue to have the support of the Kāpiti
Coast District Council, the devil is indeed in the detail
and could end in a turd degree burn for ratepayers, says
Kāpiti Coast District Mayor K Gurunathan.
The
proposal would see Kāpiti’s three water services rolled
into an entity servicing the east coast of the North Island,
Horowhenua, the Greater Wellington region and the top of the
South Island.
“My main concern with this proposal is
that our ratepayers, who have invested heavily and

The Government is proposing to
establish four publicly-owned entities to take
responsibility of drinking water, wastewater and stormwater
infrastructure across New Zealand, saving ratepayers
thousands of dollars and better ensuring the $120 to $185
billion investment in services can be made.

Those in residential care (whether care and
protection or youth justice) are some of the most complex
children and young people Oranga Tamariki work with. It is
Covid-19 Response Minister Chris Hipkins’ comments that
‘there’s no major downside’ to New Zealand’s slow
vaccine roll out are staggeringly naïve, National’s
Covid-19 Response spokesperson Chris Bishop
says.
“There are two ‘major downsides’ to being
the slowest in the developed world to roll out the Covid-19
vaccine.
“The first is that we are incredibly
vulnerable to the highly transmissible Delta variant, which
public health experts agree poses a real risk to New
Zealand.
“Delta has already caused more lockdowns in
Australia and while New Zealand has a largely unvaccinated
population, we are sitting ducks.
