HSMAI Honors Dorothy Dowling and Mary Gostelow With Lifetime Achievement Awards

The Hospitality Sales & Marketing Association International (HSMAI) is pleased to announce the recipients of the 2020 HSMAI Lifetime Achievement Awards in marketing and public relations.
Dorothy Dowling, senior vice president and chief marketing officer for Best Western® Hotels & Resorts, will be recognized with the Albert E. Koehl Award for Hospitality Marketing.
Mary Gostelow, publisher of the Gostelow Report, will be honored with the Winthrop W. Grice Award for Public Relations. HSMAI will celebrate Dowling and Gostelow at the virtual Advertisements
The HSMAI Lifetime Achievement Awards recognize individuals who have spent most of their careers in hospitality and travel and have contributed to the betterment of the industry in a significant and lasting way over an extended period of time.

The FIG Foundation will be providing scholarships of up to 4,000 euros plus possible funding for conference travel to PhD students.
To apply, applicants should submit the required documents, as well as complete the submission checklist. Successful applicants will qualify for a further grant of up to 3,000 euros to attend and present a peer reviewed paper at a FIG conference.
In order to be eligible for the Scholarship, applicants shall:
be studying for a PhD degree and registered solely in a surveying/geomatics academic programme that teaches surveying[1] in a country listed by the World Bank as a low-income, lower-middle or upper-middle income economy[2],
