Poinsett County faces harsh road conditions after snow Poinsett County faces harsh road conditions after snow By Hannah Campbell | February 15, 2021 at 7:14 PM CST - Updated February 15 at 7:14 PM TRUMANN, Ark. (KAIT) - Temperatures are dangerous, and road conditions are rough in Poinsett County. Several people at the Stepping Stone Homeless Center say the warming center saved their life. The Poinsett County Sherriff Department responded to one rollover on Highway 163 at Raceway Road. Sheriff Kevin Molder says they’ve responded to several people in ditches and those who have slid off the road. Trumann Mayor Barbara Lewallen says they have two tractors that act as snowplows, but the snow is falling faster than they can keep up. Crews are planning on removing the snow once it stops falling.
