Colorado authorities searching for person suspected of throwing poodle out of moving car Jefferson County, Colorado Sheriff’s Office (Twitter) CHEYENNE, Wyo. – Authorities in Colorado have launched a search for the person who is suspected of throwing a small dog out of a moving vehicle while on a highway in northeastern Colorado earlier this week. The Jefferson County sheriff’s office responded to a witness report on Tuesday around 1:45 p.m. that a dog was thrown from a black sedan on Interstate 76 before Sheridan Boulevard, law enforcement officials stated. A small dog was thrown from a black Lexus sedan driving Eastbound on I-76 just before Sheridan Boulevard at 1:45 p.m. today.
