Ace Hardware is replacing KinderCare Learning Centers at the Foothill Crossing Shopping Center.
With home improvement projects becoming a quarantine trend, hardware stores have emerged as one of the few thriving businesses during the pandemic – and there will soon be another place to buy tools, garden supplies and the like in Los Altos.
Ace Hardware is coming to the Foothill Crossing Shopping Center.
Scheduled to open in September, the store is currently undergoing interior renovations and installations, according to co-owner Richard Crevelt. Located between Rite Aid and Springwood Apartment Homes Leasing Center, Ace will replace KinderCare Learning Centers. The conventional store size of roughly 10,000 square feet will include a garden center and full rental equipment services as well as Ace Rewards and online services such as setup and delivery.
