Washington, May 3 (PTI) The US will never waver in its commitment to prevent another terror attack on the country and to keep the American people safe, President Joe Biden has vowed, as he marked the 10th anniversary of the killing of Osama bin Laden in Pakistan.
The al Qaeda leader who evaded justice for 10 years after the terror attacks of September 11, 2001 met his end in a covert raid by US special operations forces on May 1, 2011 in the Pakistani garrison city of Abbottabad.

Ankara, May 3 (Prensa Latina) Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu and senior Turkish defense and security officials on Monday paid a surprise visit to Tripoli, the Libyan capital, to strengthen collaboration with the transitional government, which is preparing for the December legislative election.
Besides Cavusoglu, National Defense Minister Hulusi Akar and National Intelligence Organization Director Hakan Fidan also traveled there, according to a Foreign Ministry statement.
Bilateral and regional issues will be discussed during their stay, the source added without providing further details.
Akar said on Twitter that he was also accompanied by Chief of General Staff Yasar Guler.

Kabul [Afghanistan], May 2 (ANI): As many as 81 Taliban terrorists were killed and 52 others were injured across Afghanistan in the past 24 hours, the Afghan Defence Ministry said on Sunday. The Afghan National Defense and Security Forces (ANDSF) carried out operations in several provinces including Ghazni, Badghis, Kandahar, Helmand, and Takhar. 81 Taliban were killed and 52 others were wounded in Kunar, Ghazni, Badghis, Balkh, Kandahar, Helmand, Faryab, and Takhar provinces in the reciprocal operation of Afghan National Defense and Security Forces (ANDSF) during 24 past hours. In addition, 19 IEDs were which were placed by the Taliban on public roads were destroyed and defused, Afghan Defence Ministry tweeted.
