Brussels, Apr 23 (Prensa Latina) The meeting between US President Joe Biden and leaders of the member countries of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) will be on June 14, according to official sources.
NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg made the announcement in a communiqué, and set Brussels as the venue for the meeting.
According to international media, the event, expected since Biden took office on January 20, is an opportunity for him to rebuild ties with the leaders of Canada and Europe, which were damaged by his predecessor, Donald Trump.

WASHINGTON President Joe Biden will embark on his first overseas trip in office in June, the White House is set to announce Friday, with the aim of demonstrating his administration’s commitment to the transatlantic alliance and reengagement with key allies.
Biden will attend the Group of Seven summit in Cornwall, England, set for June 11-13, followed by a visit to Brussels, where he will hold meetings with European Union leadership and attend the June 14 summit of leaders of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization.
