Cops in Atlantic City say a man who was wanted for homicide in New York was arrested on Tuesday after a cooperative effort between law enforcement agencies.

A 25-year-old New York City man was shot and killed in Atlantic City on Friday, authorities said.
Dameer Smith was shot once around 9:30 p.m. on the 1300 block of Pacific Avenue, the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office said Monday.
Smith was brought to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center in the city, where he was pronounced deceased.
No arrests have been made and no motive was disclosed. The investigation is ongoing.

Ex-child protection caseworker, a fired teacher, admits to child porn charge

A former caseworker for New Jersey’s child protection agency - who was fired from an Atlantic City elementary school teaching job after allegations of inappropriate conduct with students before being hired by the state - admitted Thursday to creating images of child sexual abuse, according to court papers and prosecutors.
Kayan Frazier pleaded guilty via video conference in Camden federal court to one count of producing images of child pornography, New Jersey Acting U.S. Attorney Rachael A. Honig said in a statement. Frazier has remained in custody since his arrest July 12, 2019.
Prosecutor Charges Hammonton Man With Sex Offenses Against Girl
A Hammonton man is accused of multiple sexual offenses against a woman that began when the woman was 11, and continued through the age of 19.
Atlantic County Prosecutor Damon Tyner says Dan Bocelle was arrested by SWAT team members Monday afternoon after he pulled his car into his driveway. He was taken into custody without incident.
Bocelle is charged with 1st degree Aggravated Sexual Assault and 5 additional sexual assault related charges. Search warrants executed at Bocelle’s house, place of business and vehicle yielded multiple cell phones, electronic devices, steroids and a large amount of cash.
A Galloway Township man and a Pleasantville man have been indicted on charges of first degree strict liability for a drug related death in connection to a fatal overdose of 59-year-old Anthony Tamburelli in 2018.
