The death of 66-year-old Mahmood Ansari sparked outrage among fellow merchants, who held a protest calling for justice in the case Friday afternoon. Two juveniles face charges related to the incident, authorities said, but were not accused of the man’s death. An autopsy was pending, and the circumstances surrounding Ansari’s death were under investigation, according to Atlantic County Prosecutor Damon G. Tyner, who announced multiple charges were filed against the 12-year-old boy and a 14-year-old girl in the encounter.
