Man killed in early-morning Atlantic City shooting, authorities say NJ.com 5 hrs ago
A 28-year-old man was shot and killed in Atlantic City on Wednesday morning, officials said.
Jahmil Greenidge was found with a single gunshot wound around 8 a.m. on the 300 block of North Tennessee Avenue, the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office said.
Greenidge, of Atlantic City, was pronounced dead at the scene. No arrests have been made.

Atlantic County Prosecutor Damon Tyner says at around 8AM, the Major Crimes Unit with the prosecutor s office responded to the area of the 300 block of North Tennessee Avenue in Atlantic City after officers had located 28-year-old Jahmil Greenidge with a gunshot wound.
According to authorities, Greenidge was dead at the scene when officers arrived.
Tyner s office says this is an active and ongoing investigation between the his office and the Atlantic City Police Department. Anyone with information regarding this fatal shooting is asked to contact the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office at (609) 909-7800.

Pleasantville Man Shot and Killed in Atlantic City Friday Night
The Major Crimes Unit of the Atlantic County Prosecutor s Office and the Atlantic City Police Department are investigating a shooting in the city late Friday night that left a Pleasantville man dead.
The ACPD says at about 11PM Friday, they received a ShotSpotter alert and 911 calls about a shooting near Baltic and Maryland Avenues.

Responding officers found 34-year-old Jacque Sheppard, Jr., of Pleasantville who was unresponsive and suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Sheppard was taken to Atlanticare Regional Medical Center-City Campus where he was pronounced dead a short time later.

Tyner say Gregory failed to properly feed the girl and beat the child repeatedly with a metal spatula leading to open wounds and welts on the child’s body. Gregory is the girl s legal guardian.
Tyner says she s been charged with 2 counts of second degree Aggravated Assault and 6 counts of second degree Endangering the Welfare of a Child whom she was the legal guardian of, as well as the child’s 2 siblings. She also faces a third degree charge of possession of heroin.
The young girl has been removed from the home by the DCP&P. Tyner says she was extremely emaciated and could barely walk. She was taken to the hospital and was admitted for one week.
