A 43-year-old man from South Jersey has been arrested for sexually abusing a 19-year-old woman multiple times for eight years, authorities said.
The alleged sexual abuse by the Hammonton resident began when the girl was 11, according to Atlantic County Prosecutor Damon G. Tyner.
Dan Bocelle was charged with first-degree aggravated sexual assault and five additional sexual assault-related charges, Tyner said.
Atlantic County SWAT members helped take the suspect into custody at about 3:30 p.m. on Monday as he pulled into his driveway, Tyner said.
Warranted searches of Bocelle’s house, place of business and vehicle yielded multiple cell phones, electronic devices, steroids and a large amount of cash, Tyner said.
A Galloway Township man and a Pleasantville man have been indicted on charges of first degree strict liability for a drug related death in connection to a fatal overdose of 59-year-old Anthony Tamburelli in 2018.
Pedestrian Struck and Killed on Atlantic Ave. in Atlantic City
Cops in Atlantic City say a 66-year-old woman was struck and killed by a vehicle on Atlantic Avenue Wednesday afternoon.
The Atlantic City Police Department says at about 4:15 PM Wednesday, their officers responded to Tennessee and Atlantic Avenues for a report of a crash involving a pedestrian.
When they arrived, they found 66-year-old Jill Collette of Atlantic City suffering from serious injuries. She was taken to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center-City Division where she was pronounced dead.
An initial investigation found Collette was walking across Atlantic Avenue in the crosswalk when the traffic signal for the opposite flow of traffic turned green. 69-year-old Daniel Sitarski of Brigantine was heading westbound on Atlantic Avenue and hit Collette.

Atlantic County Prosecutor Damon Tyner says 24-year-old Oshshakkur Derrick has been charged with felony murder, kidnapping, unlawful possession of a weapon, attempted robbery, robbery, and attempted murder.
Authorities say in the early morning hours of Sunday, November 22nd, the Atlantic City Police Department received a 911 call about a man who had been shot in a home on the 100 block of N. Pennsylvania Ave. When they arrived, they found 36-year-old Jose Ortiz of Egg Harbor Township suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. He was taken to Atlanticare Regional Medical Center-City Campus where he was pronounced dead.

A month after a 36-year-old man was shot and killed in Atlantic City, authorities have made an arrest as they continue to search for a second suspect.
Oshshakkur Derrick, 24, is charged with felony murder, kidnapping, robbery and other offenses in connection with the Nov. 22 shooting, the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office said Thursday.
Investigators are still seeking a second man hey say was responsible for the death of Jose Ortiz.
Ortiz, 36, of Egg Harbor Township, was found shot in a home on the 100 block of North Pennsylvania Avenue around 12:45 a.m. on Nov. 22, the prosecutor’s office said.
