In the new world, it is not the big fish which eats the small fish, it s the fast fish which eats the slow fish. Klaus Schwab

See, hear, speak no evil!
And, we are the slow fish, the 80 percent:
The world’s 85 richest individuals possess as much wealth as the 3.5 billion souls who compose the poorer half of the world’s population, or so it was announced in a report by Oxfam International. The assertion sounds implausible to me. I think the 85 richest individuals, who together are worth many hundreds of billions of dollars, must have far more wealth than the poorest half of our global population.

COPENHAGEN, DENMARK The United States is the nation that most threatens democracy worldwide, far more than Russia or even China. That is the headline finding from a new worldwide poll of 53 countries commissioned by the Alliance of Democracies (AoD). The poll also found that the global public considers rising inequality and the increased power of the super rich to be the greatest threat to liberty and democracy.
This was likely not the response the Alliance of Democracies wished to hear as it opened its third annual Democracy Summit in Copenhagen this week precisely because the organization represents the U.S. government and the wealthy elite more generally. Featuring an all-star panel of American officials, Western heads of state and military leaders, this year’s summit was somber in tone and focused on the “urgent need” for Western nations to unite and come up with a “transatlantic response” to counter both Russia and China.
“diverse network of organisations and individuals united in our determination to counter and expose disinformation,” working together
“through peer-to-peer learning, training and working groups” to strengthen civil society’s response to
“disinformation” which the collective
“believe to be an existential threat to democracy.”
Bankrolled to the tune of £10 million by the FCDO, OIP’s 44 partners are dotted throughout Central and Eastern Europe. Its four founding, leading members are controversial ‘open source’ investigations website Bellingcat, NATO propaganda arm Atlantic Council’s Digital Forensic Lab, Media Diversity Institute, and shadowy information warfare specialist Zinc Network (formerly Breakthrough Media).
If those names were not enough to arouse suspicion, OIP’s real nature as the UK’s anti-Kremlin propaganda wing is heavily hinted at in another batch of internal FCDO files, leaked around the time of its launch in 2019.

Secret documents from the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office reveal a clandestine, full-spectrum, multi-channel, on- and offline, assault on perceptions waged by the UK government globally targeting Russia and other states, investigative journalist Kit Klarenberg tells Sputnik.
In February 2021, documents apparently hacked by a group calling itself Anonymous revealed a highly extensive anti-Russian influence campaign funded by the UK s Foreign Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO). Kit Klarenberg is an investigative journalist and one of the few to report the existence of those documents as well as on their significance. Klarenberg, whose article was published on RT, spoke to Sputnik about w
