One person dies in crash involving seven people Special to The Daily Times At about 9:35 p.m. Friday night, Maryland State Troopers from the Berlin Barrack responded to the area of Route 376 and Grey Fox Lane for a two-vehicle collision. Troopers believe that vehicle 1 with six occupants made a U-turn in front of another vehicle with one occupant. Multiple occupants were entrapped inside of vehicle 1. The driver of vehicle 1 was transported to Atlantic General Hospital, where they were pronounced deceased (name withheld pending notification to next of kin). One patient was flown to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital by Maryland State Police Trooper 4 and another was flown to R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center by Maryland State Police Trooper 6. Four additional patients were transported by Berlin EMS, Ocean City Fire and EMS, Showell EMS, and Ocean Pines EMS to Tidal Health Peninsula Regional Medical Center.
