Woman struck and killed after getting out of car on Atlantic City Expressway

A 32-year-old woman was struck and killed along the Atlantic City Expressway early Saturday after getting out of her vehicle, authorities said.
Natalia Cordova, of Philadelphia was hit at 1:35 a.m. in the eastbound left lane near milepost 40 in Winslow, State Police said.
Cordova’s car was along an embankment in the center median, though State Police couldn’t immediately say how the vehicle ended up there.
The driver of the car that struck Cordova, a 43-year-old Mays Landing man, stopped and cooperated with troopers. No charges have been filed.

WINSLOW TWP., New Jersey (WPVI) Police are investigating a fatal crash in Winslow Township, New Jersey.
Officers say the 40-year-old driver lost control of his vehicle and struck some trees along the Atlantic City Expressway just after 2 a.m. Saturday.
Police say he then got out of his car and began walking on the expressway.
At that time, police say another driver was travelling eastbound on the expressway and struck the 40-year-old victim.
He was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Authorities say the driver of the striking vehicle stopped at the scene and is cooperating with the investigation.
