Mays Landing Man Injured in Galloway Crash Wednesday Afternoon
A man from Mays Landing was seriously injured in a crash Wednesday afternoon in Galloway Township.
The Galloway Township Police Department says their officers responded to Wrangleboro Road near Society Hill Drive at about 2PM Wednesday for the report of an accident. Arriving officers found a 2013 Hino 195 delivery-style box truck in the woods just off of the road.
The initial police investigation revealed, .that Anthony Palmeri Jr. of Mays Landing was traveling northbound on Wrangleboro Road when he traveled off the east side of the roadway and struck several trees. Palmeri was removed from the vehicle and initially treated on scene by Officer Christopher Fitting #128 and Officer Mark Kienzle #119 for a severe lower leg injury.
Authorities in Camden County say a woman who is awaiting trial in the death of her 17-month-old son and her boyfriend have both been charged in a murder-for-hire plot.
Woman Arrested for Selling $700K in Fake Coupons to NJ Shoppers
A woman from California has been arrested and charged with fraudulently selling over $700,000 worth of counterfeit coupons to people in New Jersey and other states.
Acting U.S. Attorney Rachael Honig says 33-year-old Tong Lor, also known as Mandy Carr, of Modesto, CA, is facing two counts of mail fraud.
Honig s office says,
From January 2020 to May 2021, Lor was involved in a large-scale operation to produce and sell fraudulent, counterfeit Catalina coupons using the U.S. Postal Service. She printed coupons with fake bar codes and then mailed them to purchasers in New Jersey and elsewhere for use at participating retail stores for discounts on household items such as diapers, laundry detergent, and toiletries.
