A 29-year-old Philadelphia woman s deadly leap from an Atlantic City casino parking garage has been ruled a suicide, authorities said.
The suicidal woman, whose name was not released, jumped from an upper level of the Ocean Casino Resort s parking deck just before 8:35 p.m. Wednesday, according to police.
The incident had previously been considered suspicious.
Police officers were the first to arrive on scene and found the woman lying on the beach block of New Jersey Avenue, authorities said. The woman was pronounced dead at the scene after medical personnel arrived.

Philadelphia Woman Found Dead on a Street in Atlantic City
The Atlantic City Police Department is investigating the death of a woman who was found lying in a street Wednesday night.
According to a press release, at around 8:30 Wednesday night, Atlantic City police officers responded to the beach block of New Jersey Avenue for the report of a woman found lying in the street. Medical personnel arrived at the scene and the woman, who was identified only as being 29-years-old and from Philadelphia, was pronounced dead.
Police say based on a preliminary investigation conducted by officers and detectives, the woman is believed to have fallen from an upper level of a nearby casino parking garage.
Atlantic City Surveillance Center Workers Help Find Man With Gun
Thanks to the workers at the Surveillance Center in Atlantic City, a man who was seen shooting a gun in the city is now off of the streets.
According to the Atlantic City Police Department, their officers responded to the 400 block of Dr. Martin Luther King Boulevard at around 9:40 Monday night after they received a ShotSpotter alert. Cops were not able to find any witnesses to the gunfire, however Surveillance Center personnel were able to review video camera footage from the area and they located a man shooting a handgun.
