Two deserving Sandals Barbados Resort and Spa team members have been promoted within the Sandals chain as the company continues to inspire homegrown talent for key positions and upward mobility.
They are Kimasha Hinds who has been promoted to the post of Assistant Learning & Development Manager and Regina Hall who has been elevated to Recruitment & Compliance Specialist.
Hinds’ story has truly been one of personal growth and development, fostered from a love of teaching that has seen her transitioning across diverse disciplines, from culinary to personnel training.
She has been with the company for over six years and her passion for teaching has been further cemented, having graduated with First Class Honours from the Barbados Community College with a Bachelor’s Degree in Education.

The Buccament Bay Resort that has fallen into ruins of sorts, is expected to be transformed into a Beaches all-inclusive family resort.
Five hundred Vincentians stand to benefit from direct employment opportunities within the Sandals Group when the company begins its recruitment drive in the island in the next few weeks.
Last year, Sandals Resorts International (SRI) announced plans to bring its Beaches brand to Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, a move which promises expansive economic growth for the Eastern Caribbean island.
According to the company’s Executive Chairman, Adam Stewart, this recruitment drive to provide direct employment opportunities for nationals even ahead of the resort’s opening, represents only the first move towards fulfilling this promise.
