Rod Phillips on vacation: Ontario Finance Minister Rod Phillips is being widely criticized for taking a holiday vacation to St. Barts despite public health recommendations strongly urging people to stay home and not travel abroad. Phillips released a statement on Tuesday evening saying he is making arrangements to return to Canada immediately, just one hour after Premier Doug Ford said he was “extremely disappointed” by his minister’s actions.
