Adani Green Energy: The company has commissioned a 100 megawatt (MW) solar power project at Khirsara in Gujarat. Adani Solar Energy Kutchh Two Private Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Adani Green Energy Limited (AGEL), has commissioned a 100 MW solar power project at Khirsara, Gujarat, ahead of its scheduled commercial operation date (COD) as per its 25-year power purchase agreement (PPA ) with the Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam India (GUVNL), AGEL said in a statement.

AHMEDABAD: Riding on their stocks’ strong performance on bourses, five Gujarat-based companies have added more than a billion dollar in their market capitalisation in 2020. These firms are Adani Green Energy Limited (AGEL), Adani Enterprises Limited (AEL), Cadila Healthcare Limited, Torrent Pharmaceuticals Limited and Alembic Pharmaceuticals Limited.
The equity markets this year registered historic falls in March due to the pandemic and bounced back to hit all-time highs over vaccine developments. With a 483% jump in its share price from Rs 174.8 on January 1to Rs 1,018.4 on December 16, AGEL has amassed a whopping Rs 1.31 lakh crore or $17.9 billion in m-cap this year. Its market cap has galloped from Rs 27,338 crore to Rs 1.59 lakh crore.
