New Delhi [India], March 7 (ANI): Over Rs 50 crore was disbursed by the Delhi Police Welfare Society (DPWS) to 4,459 personnel of the police force in the year 2020 for different reliefs, including marriage loans, financial assistance in death cases, education loans, loans for treatment, among others. A total of 50,36,23,938 was disbursed throughout the year. Under the Delhi Police Education Fund, a total amount of Rs 6,97,59,467 has been granted as Higher Education Scholarship to 4,627 wards of the police force, said Asif Mohammad Ali, Deputy Commissioner of Police, Vigilance and Welfare.

Doha: The US Embassy in Qatar, together with the Qatar’s Ministry of Education and Higher Education and the Qatar Career Development Center (QCDC) a member of Qatar Foundation held the virtual sixth Annual Career Counselor Training Program recently. Over 124 academic counsellors from more than 40 private schools and 60 public schools participated in the training.
Local expert school counsellors, including Annemiek Bailey, International School London-Qatar; Lisa Abidaoud, Qatar Academy for Science and Technology; and Dr. Aaron Jones, American School of Doha, led sessions in English for the private schools.
