Soft opening at Wolstein Center mass vaccination center is smooth and ‘very organized’ Updated Mar 16, 2021; Facebook Share CLEVELAND, Ohio ‑- Clevelanders who were among the first to get their COVID-19 shots Tuesday morning at the Wolstein Center mass vaccination site said the process was easy and fast. “It was very organized. I was surprised,” said Mona Becker, 68, of North Royalton, as she was leaving the Wolstein Center site. The whole process took about 30 minutes to complete, she said. Becker and her husband, Mark, were part of the Wolstein Center’s soft opening Tuesday, prior to the vaccination center’s full opening Wednesday.

RTA to Provide Free Rides to Vaccination Centers

The Greater Cleveland Regional Transit Authority (RTA) is partnering with Cuyahoga County and the City of Cleveland to provide All Day passes good for a free ride on bus, rail and paratransit to the Wolstein Center and vaccination sites throughout the county.

RTA, in partnership with Cuyahoga County and the city of Cleveland, announced Monday, March 15, that free, all-day passes for bus, rail and paratransit will be available for those traveling to vaccination sites throughout the county, including the Federal Emergency Management Agency-run vaccination site at CSU scheduled to run from Wednesday, March, 17 through May 8. The Ohio Department of Transportation s Rides to Community Immunity Program also will provide free shuttle service every 15 minutes to and from parking lots south of the Wolstein Center,
