The Greater Cleveland Regional Transit Authority (RTA) is partnering with Cuyahoga County and the City of Cleveland to provide All Day passes good for a free ride on bus, rail and paratransit to the Wolstein Center and vaccination sites throughout the county.

Free public transportation will be available to and from Cleveland State University s Wolstein Center mass COVID-19 vaccination center, as well as for other vaccination sites throughout Cuyahoga County, thanks to a $773,000 grant from the Ohio Department of Transportation, according to the Greater Cleveland Regional Transit Authority.
RTA, in partnership with Cuyahoga County and the city of Cleveland, announced Monday, March 15, that free, all-day passes for bus, rail and paratransit will be available for those traveling to vaccination sites throughout the county, including the Federal Emergency Management Agency-run vaccination site at CSU scheduled to run from Wednesday, March, 17 through May 8. The Ohio Department of Transportation s Rides to Community Immunity Program also will provide free shuttle service every 15 minutes to and from parking lots south of the Wolstein Center,

One of Mayor Frank Jackson s long-serving allies announced she will step away from city hall after 17 years in the administration and serving in a variety of high-level roles.
Jackson s administration announced the resignation of Natoya Walker Minor, who most recently served as chief of public affairs, in a statement Thursday, Feb. 18.
Walker Minor will leave city hall to join the Greater Cleveland Regional Transit Authority as deputy general manager of external affairs, according to the announcement.

CLEVELAND, Ohio Frances Mills has been sworn in as the interim commissioner of public health, two weeks after the previous commissioner resigned amid a departmental shakeup.
Frances Mills took over on Thursday, according to a news release from the city. She replaces Persis Sosiak, who was one of two employees singled out for a pre-disciplinary review in September when Jackson reorganized the health department. The mayor’s actions followed an internal investigation.
It was one of two moves announced late Thursday night by the city. Chief of Public Affairs Natoya Walker Minor has resigned after working for the city for 17 years. Her final day on the job was Monday. She is continuing to work as deputy general manager, external affairs, at the Greater Cleveland Regional Transit Authority.
