Atos International: Atos, Axione and Siemens to manage multi-service network and monitoring of three new metro lines in Paris », the largest urban transport project in Europe.
The project includes the construction of an automatic metro around Paris to avoid passing through the center of the French capital. The contract awarded to Atos, Axione and Siemens is worth €153 million and will continue until the construction of the Grand Paris Express is completed.
The new automatic metro lines (underground and overground), which will span 129 km and have 49 stations, will serve not only business and residential districts and airports, but also numerous local amenities. These transport lines will help create a new dynamic by increasing economic and social opportunities in the Paris region and beyond.

What exactly goes into making a livable city and what role does urban infrastructure play? At the virtual 2021 ULI Europe Conference Urban Infrastructure/Transit Orientated Development Forum, speakers Maria Vassilakou and Marc Lhermitte touched on the topic from the perspective of two major European cities Vienna and Paris. The conversation was moderated by Tom Daamen, associate professor in urban development management at Delft University of Technology.

Data released by the notaries of Greater Paris - which registers sales - shows that by March the average price of a square metre will be around 10,700 euros. In November the figure was 10,850 euros. The coronavirus pandemic and the first lockdown led many people in cities to think about their surroundings and it was even more the case in Paris, the notaries said in their quarterly survey of the national sales market.
