Businesses in Rochdale struggling due to the coronavirus pandemic are being reminded by GC Business Growth Hub that loans of up to £50,000 are available to support them but time is running out to apply.
Greater Manchester Combined Authority launched a £10m GM Bounce Back Loan Scheme (BBLS) in November to specifically support small and medium sized businesses such as sole traders, entrepreneurs and business owners.
The fund is for eligible SMEs based in and trading from Greater Manchester, who are unable to access Bounce Back Loans from their own banks. The deadline for applications is 31 March, and the scheme will close once the fund is fully committed.

This is just one of the findings in GC Business Growth Hub’s first ever annual review, ‘The Greater Manchester Business Growth Report’, which was published yesterday (February 12).
The 53-page document provides vital insight into how the region’s businesses have been impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic, as well as understanding opportunities and challenges in the year ahead.
Our Performance Updates are aimed at ensuring our investors and other stakeholders receive regular, timely information regarding the performance of the Group. We will publish these reports on a quarterly basis and will produce them within six weeks of the relevant quarter end. The information included is based on unaudited management accounts and other internal performance measures.
FINANCIAL PERFORMANCE: QUARTER THREE RESULTS
The management accounts of Great Places Housing Group (the Group) show year to date surplus of £15.3m, £2.1m better than budget. Turnover in the period (all income including property sales) was £103.0m and operating surplus £35.2m.
