BJP, Congress have no worth to ask for votes in Telangana: KTR

Hyderabad: The Telangana Rashtra Samithi Working President K. T. Rama Rao on Saturday said the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is trying to defame the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) party at every level. He said that both BJP and Congress have no worth to ask for votes in Telangana.
He said, “BJP is only trying to defame the TRS party at every level right from Delhi to all the way in Telangana. They have tried to take credits for many schemes that the Telangana Government has set up including Mission Bhagiratha. On the other hand, the Congress Party did have a great history but currently doesn’t hold any future. Both BJP and Congress do not hold any worth to ask for votes in Telangana.”
Telangana recorded 176 COVID-19 cases and one fatality on Saturday, taking the tally to 2,78,807 and death toll to 1,634. While 40,985 people were examined, results of 640 were awaited. The new cases

Telangana saw 178 fresh COVID-19 cases, taking the infection count past 2.98 lakh, while one more death pushed the aggregate to 1,633,the government said on Saturday.
Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) accounted for the most number of cases with 30, followed by Medchal Malkajgiri 20 and Rangareddy with 15, a government bulletin said on Saturday providing details as of 8 pm on February 26.
The total number of cases stood at 2,98,631 while with 148p atients being cured, the total recoveries were at 2,95,059.
The state has 1,939 active cases and 40,821 samples were tested on Friday.

HYDERABAD: As part of the exercise of administering COVID vaccine doses nation-wide, the third phase of vaccination for senior citizens and those above 45 years with co-morbidities begins tomorrow. So far the nation has achieved the milestone of administering over 1 crore 43 lakh doses so far.
The third phase of the rollout is for the priority groups above the age of 60 years and between 45-59 years of age who are suffering from comorbidities.
Telangana health officials have asked people to keep ready the document that certifies the comorbidities.
