Datastream Digital Sdn Bhd (DST) has issued an apology to customers who were affected by a service outage on Wednesday.
The technical issue started at around 4pm, disrupting mobile phone and mobile broadband services. The problem also affected data and USSD services, along with several features on the MyDST app.
“After a thorough investigation on the issue, DST found that the service unavailability was caused by a system outage to the billing system,” said the telco in a statement.
“With the identification of the issue, DST immediately worked to rectify it as soon as possible, to ensure the restoration of services. By 5pm, DST successfully restored services for all of its Mobile Postpaid subscribers.
