Wonderland Is For Everyone by the lesbian publishing group Labrisz, which features a doe who wishes to become a buck and a poem about the marriage of two princes. As
Reuters reported, the author, Boldizsar Nagy, a 37-year-old gay Romani, told
Reuters the book was intended to “teach children to be respectful of people of all backgrounds,” including racial minorities and disabled people, who are also depicted in the anthology.
Despite Nagy’s assertion, the Hungarian government defended its order by saying the book “hides the fact that it depicts behavior inconsistent with traditional gender roles.”

The Hungarian Consumer Protection Agency have ordered a publisher to print disclaimers on LGBTQ+ books as containing “behaviour inconsistent with traditional gender roles”.
On Tuesday, January 19, the Consumer Protection Agency claimed the disclaimer was necessary to protect readers against “alternative gender roles. Their decision was in response to an anthology fairytale book titled
Wonderland Is For Everyone, which included a poem about a prince who marries another prince along with other stories depicting underrepresented and marginalised communities.

The Labrisz Lesbian Association was ordered to add the disclaimer to any book containing LGBT+ themes after it published the fairytale tome, titled
Wonderland Is For Everyone,
Authors explained that the book is intended to represent everyone. It features the tale of a prince marrying a prince and a doe wishing to become a buck, as well as a reimagined Snow White, now renamed “Leaf Brown”.
But such stories are, according to the Government Office of the Capital City Budapest, a threat to society itself. Yes, really.
