Vaccination pop-up site to open at Bedford Town Hall

A vaccination pop-up site is set to open at Bedford Town Hall Monday.
The Town of Bedford partnered with the Antioch Baptist Church to open up the site. It will be administering the Johnson & Johnson vaccine.
For this pop-up, you must be over 18 years old and a New York resident.

YOUNGSTOWN Mrs. Dorothy Ann Smith, 86, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, April 3, 2021, peacefully at home under the care of her family and hospice.
Dorothy was born Jan. 10, 1935, in Biff County in Piper, Ala. She was the daughter of Olus and Lula Maude Hudson. She was the seventh of 10 children. Dorothy moved to Birmingham, Ala., at the age of 7.
She was christened at an early age at Allen Chapel AME Church. Growing up, she attended both Allen Chapel and Groveland Baptist Church because her mama was Methodist and her daddy was Baptist. She attended and graduated from Patterson Elementary School a year early because of her high academic performance. She attended and graduated from A.H. Parker High School in January 1952 at the age of 16.

Two churches in South Dallas are partnering with local nonprofit Hunger Busters to donate free food this week.
Friendship-West Baptist Church, located at 2020 W. Wheatland Road, will distribute boxes of food to drive-through or walk-up visitors from 10 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. on Thursday, or until supplies last. Antioch Baptist Church, located at 7550 S. Hampton Road, will distribute food Saturday at 10 a.m.
