He did know for sure that he hoped that would be the case. I was secretly rooting for Jacksonville, he said. Etienne got his wish late Thursday when the Jaguars selected the Clemson University running back No. 25 overall in the 2021 NFL Draft. The selection reunited Etienne with his college teammate, quarterback Trevor Lawrence, selected by the Jaguars No. 1 overall three hours earlier.

Phillips transferred to Miami from UCLA in 2019 and sat out the season. In his lone season with the Hurricanes last year, Phillips finished with 45 tackles, eight sacks and an interception.

Washington Acquires G Ereck Flowers Sr

Copied! LOUDOUN COUNTY, Va. The Washington Football Team announced today that they have acquired guard Ereck Flowers Sr. from the Miami Dolphins. Full terms of the deal were not disclosed.  Flowers (6-6, 330) is a seven-year NFL veteran who entered the league as a first round (9th overall) selection by the New York Giants in the 2015 NFL Draft. He has appeared in 89 career regular season games with 85 starts at both offensive tackle and guard. Flowers was a member of Washington in 2019, starting 16 games at guard.  In postseason play, Flowers appeared and started in one game at left tackle for the New York Giants in 2016.

Hayes was a standout for the Seminoles under legendary former coach Bobby Bowden from 2005-07. He was named first-team All-Atlantic Coast Conference after a junior season in which he recorded 80 tackles, 17.5 tackles for loss and five sacks before leaving school early for the NFL Draft.
