Pawri ho rahi hai trend went viral earlier this month after a Pakistani influencer posted a hilarious video on Instagram following which several people on the Internet started making memes and videos of their own over it, besides political parties using it to reach voters in creative ways.
The Trinamool s rebuttal came a day after the BJP posted the animated music video taking a leaf out of the Italian Communist song Bella Ciao and using Bengali lyrics to ask voters to get rid of current Bengal Chief Minister and Trinamool chief Mamata Banerjee s rule.
The Bella Ciao song has been adapted several times in the past and has become a protest song against fascist forces across the world.

As BJP launched a song with a twist to the popular Bella Ciao number mocking Mamata Banerjee with Pishi Jao , the ruling Trinamool Congress on Sunday posted a tweet taking a dig at the BJP with the latest pawri trend.
Posting an image of empty chairs and a stage at a BJP meeting, the TMC Twitter handle wrote, Yeh Bengal BJP hai. Yeh unki jansabha hai. Aur yahaan inki pawri ho rahi hai!
The TMC tweet has since has started picking up on the microblogging site as the Bengal ruling party jumped on the pawri trend started by musician Yashraj Mukhate with his viral video recently.
Soon after the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) served notice to the wife of Trinamool Congress (TMC) MP Abhishek Banerjee in a coal scam case, Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on Sunday said the people of Bengal cannot be intimidated with jail. Addressing an event celebrating the International Mother Language Day at Deshapriya Park here, Banerjee said, There are some leaders (in Delhi) who said they knew how to break the spine of Bengal. It is not easy to break our spine. Bengal taught me to fight bravely like a tiger. We cannot be intimidated with jail. The people who have fought against guns do not fear fighting a rat.
