On Monday, external affairs minister S Jaishankar spoke against the criticism over India s export of coronavirus vaccines. He emphasized that there are global commitments for a variety of reasons, including for procurement of raw materials for production of the doses.
In an online interaction, the external affairs minister said that India has always prioritised vaccination of its people while describing those who questioned why the country was exporting at all as non-serious people.

Some 159 tri-services officers, including officers from friendly foreign countries, successfully completed the Higher Defence Management Course (HDMC) at College of Defence Management (CDM), Secunderabad on Friday. Chief of the Air Staff of the Indian Air Force Air Chief Marshal RKS Bhadauria presided over and felicitated the graduating officers. These officers will soon be taking up challenging command and staff assignments in armed forces of their respective countries.
