Lottoland signs up for All-In Diversity Project

Lottery betting operator Lottoland has agreed to become a founding member of the All-In Diversity Project, an industry-driven initiative aiming to benchmark diversity, equality and inclusion in the global betting and gaming sectors.
Lottoland will work with the organisation and its network of members to promote diversity and equality across the industry.
The All-In Diversity Project also counts Entain, Microgaming, Caesar Entertainment, Betsson, IGT, Scientific Games, Flutter Entertainment, Gaming Innovation Group and Kindred Group among its members.
“As a global employer, employing people from 29 nationalities and speaking between us 30 different languages, Lottoland is committed to providing a fun, safe and fully inclusive culture where our people feel like they are truly part of the Lottoland family,” Lottoland chief executive Nigel Birrell said.

All-in Diversity Project (AiDP) has launched an industry-first survey examining the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on diversity, equality and inclusion (DEI) in the betting and gaming industry.
Initiated globally, the survey is free for all participants and will allow employees and employers to share their thoughts and experiences on how the pandemic has affected their attitudes and approach to the workplace.
“By asking employees and employers the right questions now, we hope to try to identify what the impacts are or might be – both good and bad – and develop a strategy that aims to address the negative and amplify the positive,” said

To coincide with International Women’s Day, Joanne Christie takes stock of where the industry is at in terms of gender diversity and looks at what more needs to be done.
If one looked solely at the industry news related to appointments this year, they might come to the conclusion that the gaming industry is an industry with reasonable gender diversity.
Within the space of one week in late January, there were three female CEO appointments, including the first ever female CEO of a listed British gaming company in Entain’s Jette Nygaard-Andersen.
