Parts of Bolton are seeing an escalation of surge testing amid growing concern over the continuing rapid rise of coronavirus in the borough. It s where lifelong friendships are made, first crushes are developed, and where for some of us we discover a path into a future career. Sharing some of his own school memories and photos, reader John Jones, from Wrexham, takes us on a nostalgic trip back to the classroom. These are school photographs of mine from the late 1950s to early 1960s when I was a pupil at Ponciau Primary School. There is the class group photograph, and one which was taken a little later, of the boys enjoying a craft lesson.
