Traffic stopped as dozens of pupils from various schools turned out for the fun race. Over at Embsay Primary School, youngsters were having fun with pancakes in 2014. Will Snowden, pictured flipping the pancake at the front, shows his pals how it’s done. Sabiha Ayub, Jonathon Brown and Samir Alam, pupils at Ings Primary School in Skipton, dressed up in period costume to take part in tossing pancakes at the school’s centenary celebrations in 2011.
